Hi, i’m Kelly Branch! The Owner of Vine & Branch Bridal and Hair. Raised here in San Diego I went to cosmetology school not too long after graduating from Point Loma High. Since the age of 9 I have always known being a hairstylist was for me. I have been working behind the chair at Southside Salon in South Park since 2015. I specialize in curly haircuts, and hair coloring with Kevin Murphy hair color. This also includes blonding highlights. I also have a bridal business where I travel and offer hairstyling and makeup for weddings and events. I can travel and take amazing care of the soon to be brides even out of the country. I have traveled twice to Cancún Mexíco. A few facts about me: I see my self as loving & kind, I love Jesus and I strive to be more like Him everyday. I’am a mommy of two beautiful girls Olive and Blessen. I’m a loyal friend, loving daughter, strong, passionate and very ambitious. I love life and most importantly I love God.

When I’m not working you can trust and believe that i’m raising my two toddler but also improving my skills. To taking classes on all of the latest trends or even refreshing my talents through educational video. I love to keep up on all of the styles for the current year.

I am a strong believer that dreams and having faith are super powerful. When I was young I always dreamed of owning a business and I would tell my family and friends all about it.

One of my favorite memories as a kid, was when I would sneak into my nana’s bathroom and put on red lipstick.

Becoming a hair and makeup artist was an obvious career path for me. It’s fair to say I have been doing hair and makeup for quite sometime. A couple of years after high school, I decided it was time to conquer the world of beauty. I attended Marinello School of Beauty and graduated with a cosmetology license in the year 2008. I was so excited for this amazing accomplishment that I wasted no time and assisted many wonderful mentors who provided the best advice, techniques and tools to embark me into this beautiful cosmetology career. I’am now happy to say that I have worked with amazing talented and well skilled professionals.

How many girls can you accommodate?

We have done up to parties of 13 girls!

Do you accommodate late arrivals?

Life happens and I get that! As a courtesy please arrive early if coming into the salon for your services I can only conduct your session if you are running 10-15 minutes behind your scheduled appointment. Your promptness is greatly appreciated and required to properly serve you.

What is airbrush makeup?

In a nutshell, it’s foundation that is sprayed with a small air compressor. It is light weight, but will also give you full coverage. It looks flawless in photographs with a finished look. My favorite is that it’s water resistant it will not come off with hugs, sweat, tears or humidity. How cool is that?

What do I need to do to hold my wedding date?

A deposit is required to reserve your wedding date. The deposit is non-refundable and will be used toward the final package price.

The Steps: 1. Let’s Meet  2. Set up a trial  3. Retain deposit  4. Fill out contract  5. See you on your wedding day!

When should I book my trial?

The sooner the better that way if we decide to move forward we can lock in your wedding date. Book your trial today!

Is there a standard travel fee you charge for on-site styling?

I love to travel for my brides, whether outside of the state or even the country! There is no travel fee inside the county of San Diego. However, minimum booking services begin at $700. Your travel fee can be put toward your booking minimum :) Outside of the county there is are travel accommodations for myself that will be required.
