Hi, I’m Kelly Branch, owner of Vine & Branch Bridal and Hair!

Third generation raised in San Diego, I’ve known since I was 9 that hairstyling was my calling. I graduated from Marinello School of Beauty in 2008 and have worked at Southside Salon in South Park since 2015, specializing in curly cuts and color with Kevin Murphy products, including blonding highlights.

I also run a bridal beauty business, offering hair and makeup for weddings—including destination events like in Cancún! I’m passionate, faith-driven, and a proud mom of two beautiful girls, Olive and Blessen. I love keeping up with the latest trends, taking classes, and always improving my craft.

One of my favorite childhood memories is sneaking red lipstick from my Nana’s bathroom—it’s no surprise I became a beauty professional!

How many girls can you accommodate?

We have done up to parties of 13 girls!

Do you accommodate late arrivals?

Life happens and I get that! As a courtesy please arrive early if coming into the salon for your services I can only conduct your session if you are running 10-15 minutes behind your scheduled appointment. Your promptness is greatly appreciated and required to properly serve you.

What is airbrush makeup?

In a nutshell, it’s foundation that is sprayed with a small air compressor. It is light weight, but will also give you full coverage. It looks flawless in photographs with a finished look. My favorite is that it’s water resistant it will not come off with hugs, sweat, tears or humidity. How cool is that?

What do I need to do to hold my wedding date?

A deposit is required to reserve your wedding date. The deposit is non-refundable and will be used toward the final package price.

The Steps: 1. Let’s Meet  2. Set up a trial  3. Retain deposit  4. Fill out contract  5. See you on your wedding day!

When should I book my trial?

The sooner the better that way if we decide to move forward we can lock in your wedding date. Book your trial today!

Is there a standard travel fee you charge for on-site styling?

I love to travel for my brides, whether outside of the state or even the country! There is no travel fee inside the county of San Diego. However, minimum booking services begin at $700. Your travel fee can be put toward your booking minimum :) Outside of the county there is are travel accommodations for myself that will be required.
